Why does a user still have access after being removed from a Work Order?

A user may still be able to see a record even after being removed from a Work Order if their access was originally granted through that assignment.

If the user’s role does not normally allow access to the record, being assigned to a Work Order on that record gives them direct visibility. When they are later removed from the Work Order, the assignment is removed, but the direct access created by it is not automatically removed.

How do I fully remove their access?

To fully revoke access, the user must also be removed from the record’s Share list:

  1. Open the record

  2. Click Share in the top-right corner

  3. Under Direct Members, locate the user

  4. Click the delete icon next to their name

Once removed there, they should no longer have access.
