How do I export records to CSV?

Context

Users can export project records, client records, or request records from the system into a CSV file for reporting or analysis. This export feature allows users to filter results by a defined date range or utilize a smart view for more granular filtering options. Smart views include advanced filtering at the field level.

Answer

To export records from the system:

  1. Click on your company name in the top left corner

  2. Select "Export Records" from the dropdown menu

  3. In the export records tab:

    • Choose the desired record type (e.g., "Projects," "Clients," or "Request")

    • Select your export method: either "Date Range" or "Smart View"

You can customize your export by selecting specific date ranges or using saved Smart Views to filter the data you want to export.

The exported file will include all fields associated with the selected record type, including custom fields such as sales rep assignments, project details, and other relevant information.
